Job Title: Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled maintenance technician to join our team in Pittsworth, QLD. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting on machinery and associated plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections and perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the reliable performance of machinery and equipment.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnosing faults and implementing repairs or replacements as necessary.
  • Analyze equipment failures to identify root causes and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
  • Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for accurate record keeping and work order management.
  • Manage tools, spare parts, and materials effectively to support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with production and operations staff to align maintenance activities with production requirements and minimize disruption.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Advanced Diploma or Diploma in the relevant field of studies, or at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience with PLC programming and complex machinery maintenance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to write reports and liaise with various teams.
  • Excellent planning and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
