Responsibilities:
- Strategic Account Management: Develop and execute joint business plans with key accounts to drive mutual growth.
- Promotional Planning: Lead promotional planning with strong commercial acumen, negotiating and implementing strategies to boost sales and market share.
- Account Management: Manage existing independent supermarket accounts in your region.
- Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with store owners and managers.
- Supply Chain Management: Resolve supply issues, manage stock on hand reports, and support the ordering process.
- Field Insights: Conduct weekly check-ins with retail partners to gather data, identify gaps, and provide field insights.
Requirements:
- Sales or Merchandising Expertise: Demonstrated experience working with Independent Grocery group networks.
- Client Engagement: A preference for face-to-face interaction to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Industry Experience: Experience in the Seafood sector is highly regarded, though not essential.
- Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
- Collaboration: A collaborative work style and the capacity to engage effectively with all internal departments.
- Technical Proficiency: A high level of computer literacy, including strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
