**Public Policy Professional**

As a key player in driving our public policy agenda, you will be instrumental in shaping our approach to regulatory matters across Australia and New Zealand. You will work closely with government, industry, and internal stakeholders to deliver responsible and sustainable outcomes.

  • Manage regulatory compliance for the development and promotion of alcohol products.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality government submissions on public policy matters.
  • Lead training sessions for business teams on regulatory codes and obligations.
  • Implement Asahi's Responsible Drinking programs.
  • Partner with industry associations to enhance reputation and develop effective campaigns.
  • Collaborate with marketing, legal, sustainability, and communications teams to ensure consistent messaging that promotes the business and our brands.
  • Contribute to media engagement opportunities.
About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a degree-qualified professional with a background in law, public policy, communications, or corporate affairs. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in regulatory, corporate affairs, communications, or government environments.

You should possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders. Skilled in interpreting regulatory codes and drafting high-quality government submissions, you will be confident in dealing with complexity, ambiguity, and competing priorities. Experience in delivering training and building capability across business teams is essential.

Additionally, you will have knowledge of media engagement and a strong awareness of current affairs and social context.
