Public Policy Leader

This is a critical role that requires strategic thinking and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.

As a Public Policy Leader, you will be responsible for shaping Asahi's approach to public policy across Australia and New Zealand, working closely with government, industry, and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in law, public policy, communications or corporate affairs, and a minimum of 5 years' experience in regulatory, corporate affairs, communications or government environments.

You will interpret regulatory codes, draft high-quality government submissions, manage regulatory compliance for alcohol products, develop and deliver government submissions, and lead training on regulatory codes.

In addition, you will collaborate with marketing, legal, sustainability and communications teams to ensure consistent messaging that promotes the business and our brands.

You will contribute to media engagement opportunities and deal with complexity, ambiguity and competing priorities.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
