About the Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled WHS and Emergency Management Specialist to join our People and Culture Department. The successful candidate will provide expertise to support Albury Wodonga Health in monitoring and improving WHS and Emergency Management practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective WHS and Emergency Management strategies and plans
  • Provide training and support to staff on WHS and Emergency Management procedures
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on WHS and Emergency Management performance

Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge of AIIMS and WHS legislation
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar or same role
  • Experience in people leadership and training
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
  • Extensive experience in developing and implementing WHS and Emergency Management frameworks
