Salary and Benefits

The estimated hourly rate for this role is $30.01-$32.28 (Pro Rata) ASO2.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to hospital ward staff, ensuring that patients and families receive excellent customer service.

You will maintain accurate records and statistics, identify areas for improvement, and provide exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Ensure visitor requests from patients' families are met.
  • Maintain records and statistics pertinent to each area.
  • Receive handovers from NUM/Ward Coordinator regarding patient information.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Demonstrated high-level interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience as a Ward Administrative Assistant or Admin Assistant.
  • Experience working in a clinical environment.
  • Experience working with distressed patients/carers with empathy.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
