Administrative Coordinator for Medicine, Cardiac and Critical Care

The Southern Adelaide Local Health Network - Flinders Medical Centre is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join its Medicine, Cardiac and Critical Care team. As a key member of the administration team, you will provide high-quality administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the ward.
Key Responsibilities- Answering incoming telephone calls and responding to patient enquiries in a timely and professional manner;
- Providing general assistance and advice to medical staff regarding administrative requirements and hospital services;
- Coordinating patient transfer, admission, and discharge information with the Central Patient and Bed Manager;
- Maintaining stationery and equipment supplies;
- Receiving, sorting, and distributing mail;
- Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritise work to meet deadlines;
- Able to work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals;
- Previous experience working in a clinical environment, preferably in a ward administration role;
- Familiarity with hospital policies and procedures.
This is a part-time position (7.5 hours per week) offering a salary of $58,709.00 - $63,154.00 (Pro Rata) ASO2. SA Health offers salary packaging benefits which can help reduce taxable income. The organisation also promotes flexible working arrangements and diversity in the workplace.
