Job Description: As a Casual Ward Administration Assistant at Flinders Medical Centre, you will provide exceptional customer service to patients and families while supporting the administrative operations of a hospital ward.

About the Role:

  • Maintaining accurate records and statistics pertinent to each area, identifying systems that require improvement.
  • Receiving handover from NUM/Ward Coordinator regarding patient information to enable assessment of patient needs.

About You:

  • Demonstrated high-level interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience working as a Ward Administrative Assistant or Admin Assistant.
  • Experience working in a clinical environment.
  • Experience working with distressed patients/carers with empathy.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
