This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic service that supports vulnerable families in South West Sydney.
The Aboriginal Child and Family Service has a large multidisciplinary team comprising Aboriginal Health Workers, Child and Family Nurses and Allied Health professionals. The role requires an Aboriginal person with a commitment to embedding culture in practice and experience managing multidisciplinary teams that support clients with vulnerabilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading this service and its team, establishing partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to improve access to health services for Aboriginal families in South West Sydney.
This position is ideal for an experienced leader who can embed culture in practice and provide strong clinical governance.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the Aboriginal Child and Family Service and its multidisciplinary team.
- Establish partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to improve access to health services for Aboriginal families in South West Sydney.
- Embed culture in practice and uphold cultural integrity within clinical governance.
- Post graduate qualifications in health or social science areas or relevant work experience.
- A commitment to embedding culture in practice and providing culturally safe care.
- An Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2).
