Job Opportunity: Transformational Leadership

As a key leader in our First Nations People & Place Strategy, you will have the opportunity to co-design programs that remove barriers, build pathways, and celebrate First Nations strengths.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultural Capability Development: Co-create the development and delivery of our First Nations People Strategy – People Pillar, focusing on cultural capability, retention, and cultural safety.
  • Workforce Metrics and Analysis: Shape and monitor First Nations workforce metrics across recruitment, onboarding, progression, and retention to inform systemic change.
  • Cultural Safety and Embedment: Provide expert advice and strategic leadership to embed cultural safety into policies, systems, and everyday practices.
  • Cultural Capability Initiatives: Deliver impactful cultural capability initiatives for leaders, managers, and frontline staff, integrated within our broader Capability/Skills Framework.
  • Benchmarking and Assessment: Establish tools and benchmarks to assess and monitor cultural capability across all employee groups.
  • Cultural Learning Opportunities: Strengthen peer-led and practical cultural learning opportunities.
  • Retention, Progression, and Visibility: Design strategies to enhance retention, progression, and visibility of First Nations employees, including leadership development, mentoring, and sponsorship programs.
