About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Development Engineer to join our AWS Infrastructure team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, operating, and deploying network infrastructure across all of our network fabrics.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Network Design and Deployment: Design, operate, and deploy network infrastructure across all of our network fabrics, ensuring high reliability and quality.
  2. Network Troubleshooting and Optimization: Troubleshoot and optimize network routing, interconnectivity, platforms, performance, and configurations issues, including low-level application interaction, Unix systems, and new-age networking software tools.
  3. Project Leadership: Lead network projects in areas such as network engineering, deployment/implementation, scaling, technology refresh, best practices application, and/or network optimization.
  4. Collaboration and Partnership: Partner with our broader Network/Infrastructure organization in areas such as network engineering, configurations standards, and tools, as well as work closely with automation teams to define tools for scaling at higher volumes.
  5. Technical Expertise: Possess strong technical expertise in major internet routing protocols, Linux/Unix environments, large-scale networking environments, and automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell, and/or Perl.
Requirements
  1. 4+ years of experience in major internet routing protocols
  2. 4+ years of experience working in a Linux/Unix environment
  3. 4+ years of professional experience working in large-scale networking environments
  4. 4+ years of experience in automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell, and/or Perl
