We are seeking a highly motivated Software Development Manager to lead our Capacity Deployment team in delivering scalable and efficient network connectivity solutions for our customers. As a key member of our Network Engineering team, you will be responsible for defining and developing software systems that enable our network to operate at the highest standards of safety, security, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of network, system, and software development engineers to automate and optimize capacity scaling across our backbone, fiber, and optical line systems.
- Own the software vision and roadmap for the Capacity Engineering team, aligning with best practices, business requirements, and customer needs.
- Grow and manage software and network development engineers responsible for developing and maintaining software systems.
- Manage the development process using agile methodologies, delivering high-quality software and ensuring rapid iterations.
- Show business and technical judgment to accelerate time-to-market of releases, minimizing technical debt while incrementally moving services towards the vision.
- Ensure that software and tooling delivered are aligned with capacity deployment operations, enabling execution at scale.
- Continuously promote safe delivery through change control and operational excellence initiatives.
- Focus and manage services using data, metrics, and dashboarding techniques.
- Collaborate with internal customers, partner teams, and other stakeholders on deliveries and initiatives.

Requirements- 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
