Senior Business Development Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive business growth across the Asia-Pacific region.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international development, with experience writing bids for major donors and possess outstanding bid writing capabilities.


This role will focus on delivering impactful proposals and tenders across various sectors, including economic management, climate change, private sector development, governance, public financial management, sustainable infrastructure, agriculture, and agribusiness.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth by identifying and tracking emerging opportunities.
  • Lead and support bid writing, including the development of technical and financial proposals.
  • Nurture new and existing strategic partnerships.
  • Represent the organisation externally.
  • Maintain associate databases and knowledge repositories.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience writing bids for DFAT and other major donors.
  • Bid management experience.
  • Nuanced understanding of Aid Programs and international development strategies.
  • Significant international development experience, preferably in Asia-Pacific.
  • Consulting experience within the international development, governmental, and multilateral sectors.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to build effective client relationships and networks.
  • High degree of organisational ability and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • A desire to travel and tackle unfamiliar challenges.
