Job Title: Senior Business Development Professional

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Business Development Professional to lead our business growth efforts in the Asia-Pacific region. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceiving and executing regional business growth and engagement strategies, strategic partnerships, and thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth across the Asia-Pacific region by identifying and pursuing new opportunities with key donors.
  • Lead bid writing efforts, including the development of technical and financial proposals in response to live tenders.
  • Nurture relationships with clients through regular engagement to understand needs, foster trust, and identify opportunities for future collaboration.
  • Maintain databases and knowledge repositories to support accurate and timely business development activities.
  • Support cross-business coordination and cooperation to promote a joined-up approach to BD in Asia-Pacific.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject; Master's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience writing bids for DFAT, with outstanding bid writing capabilities.
  • Bid management experience and appreciation of DFAT procurement cycles.
  • Nuanced understanding of international development strategies.
  • Significant international development experience, preferably in Asia-Pacific.
