This role is designed to drive business growth across the Asia-Pacific region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the bid process from inception to submission, focusing on key donors and identifying strategic funding opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international development, with experience writing bids for DFAT and leading tender processes. They will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with multicultural stakeholders and present complex information effectively.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Developing and implementing business development strategies to drive growth across the Asia-Pacific region
- Managing the bid process, including researching and identifying new opportunities, developing proposals, and submitting tenders
- Fostering relationships with clients and partners, including government agencies, NGOs, and private sector organizations
- Providing technical and financial expertise to support business development activities
The successful applicant must have a degree in a relevant subject, such as international development or business administration. Experience working in international development, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region, is highly desirable.
