Job Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Reinsurance Specialist to contribute to and deliver operational, strategic, and reinsurance management objectives.

Your Role:

You will be responsible for managing the operational components of reinsurance team functions, including premiums, accounts, finance, claims management, and contract wordings.

  • Management of premiums, accounts, and finance related to reinsurance operations.
  • Support throughout the reinsurance placement and renewal cycle, including information management and data collation.
  • Assistance with key management and regulatory reports, such as APRA, Board, and Management reporting.
  • Support broader team functions, including placement strategy, budgeting, catastrophe modeling, and program maintenance.

Your Skills & Qualifications:

We require a candidate with reinsurance-specific experience (3-5 years minimum) or related insurance roles. You should have knowledge of key regulatory, capital, and rating regimes, as well as corporate financial concepts.

Successful candidates will have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes in a professional manner.
