Job Summary

A professional opportunity exists for an experienced facilitative reinsurance specialist to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the existing team in the placement of facultative reinsurance for various clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assisting the team in the implementation of client production strategies as set by the head and deputy head of the facultative division.
  2. Developing relationships with current carriers, and assisting in the identification of potential new carriers.
  3. Assisting senior facultative brokers to meet the team's revenue goals.
  4. Providing and maintaining a high level of client service to enable effective client relationship management.
  5. Managing daily client enquiries and keeping clients regularly informed on the status of their facultative reinsurance placements.
Requirements:
  • A sound knowledge of general insurance/reinsurance, across commercial classes.
  • Self-disciplined and organized with a motivation to work to tight deadlines.
  • Time management and organisational skills are essential with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
