Business Development Representative - South Yarra

Generate new business opportunities within the Education and Government sectors.

Responsibilities include generating qualified opportunities, developing a robust pipeline of opportunities, and working with assigned Account Executives to develop opportunities.

Required skills include sector-specific procurement cycles, budget limitations, and decision-making processes.

Key responsibilities also include building relationships with key decision-makers, understanding fiscal year planning and budget cycles, and developing expertise in education GRC technology requirements.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of B2B sales development or related experience and a background in selling to education or government sectors is preferred.

Additionally, knowledge of public sector procurement and RFP/RFQ processes, strong communication skills, research abilities, and time management skills are essential.

  • Understand and align outreach with fiscal year planning and budget cycles
  • Develop expertise in education GRC technology requirements and government compliance standards
  • Participate in education conferences, government vendor fairs, and sector-specific events
