About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Business Developer to join our team in QLD. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and growing client relationships and accounts within your territory.

As a Regional Sales Business Developer, you will:

  • Generate leads across Wholesalers (Electrical predominately) and open new accounts/branches to drive sales growth and increase revenue
  • Maintain and build strong existing relationships to increase purchasing frequency and value
  • Develop and execute regionally and/or customer specific promotional campaigns to drive engagement and loyalty
  • Set your agenda daily and create a sales plan and call cycle for your territory to track sales growth and opportunities

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, plus superannuation, car allowance, bonus, and loads of other benefits.

Your Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong foundation of sales and/or brand activation experience into the Trade (B2B)
  • A passion for sales and the trade industry, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivation, goal-driven, healthy sense of initiative, and ability to work well within a small team
  • Customer focus, excellent communication skills, and a thirst for results
  • Exceptional professional relationship-building skills, and strong commercial acumen
