Regional Sales Development Manager, Middle East

Herman Miller UAE is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Development Manager to join our team in Dubai.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing interest and buying potential for Herman Miller brands in the Middle East region. This involves developing, involving, and coordinating resources against opportunities in specific markets within the region.
The key objective of this role is to increase awareness and subsequently sales opportunities across the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities- Promote Herman Miller products and services to gain orders on behalf of the company.
- Gain an understanding of the local business community and identify opportunities in regional, national, and local sectors.
- Win business against sales and margin targets for all Herman Miller products within identified sectors.
- Timetable and gain support for seminar activity locally.
- Involve specialist sales resources where relevant against specific opportunities.
- Provide accurate forecasting information for total volume sales by product group and detailed information on specific large projects.
- Maintain good working relationships with local dealer personnel maintaining competence and commitment to Herman Miller products.
- Provide field training for dealer sales personnel in product and positional skills.
- Involve other groups as appropriate, such as the Global Enterprise Management team, A&D or Channel Development.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent.
- Successful sales experience of at least 3 years.
- Experience of working for a multinational organization.
- Knowledgeable in forecasting and planning.
- Fluent in English, spoken and written.
- Experience of working in the Middle East/North Africa preferred.
- Experience of furniture or interiors industry preferred.
- Arabic language skills preferred.
- Good communicator both verbally and in written form.
- Well-organized with good time management skills.
- Must enjoy teamwork but also be self-motivated and able to work alone and be self-sufficient.
- Good networking skills.
- Flexible to work long hours when required and undertake travel throughout the region.
- Highly literate in the use of IT systems.
- Numerate in the preparation of quotations and forecast information.
- Culturally aware and have traveled extensively.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Quick learner.
- Able to show initiative and creativity.
We offer a competitive salary of AED 180,000 per annum, plus benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and annual leave.
