The Colleague Village is the heart of our community, and as a Village Manager, you will play a vital role in shaping its culture and atmosphere. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the smooth operation of the village, ensuring that all colleagues receive exceptional service, professional attention, and personal recognition.
">Key to your success will be inspiring and motivating your team to provide a unique experience for our colleagues. You will collaborate with department managers to maintain high service standards and drive continuous improvement. This will involve engaging with colleagues upon arrival, addressing complaints, seeking feedback, and building relationships to enhance overall satisfaction.
">To ensure the village runs efficiently, you will plan staffing needs, assign work, and set performance and development goals. Providing mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback will help your team improve, while educating staff on compliance with laws and safety regulations will be essential.
">Fostering a culture of teamwork and maintaining clear communication about the hotel's successes will keep your team motivated. Working closely with Village Management to ensure appropriate room allocations for new colleagues and maintaining accurate personnel records will also be important.
">Significant operations experience in a leadership role across various functions – including Front Office/Reception, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Culinary, and Activities – will be highly valuable. An understanding of remote living considerations will be beneficial in ensuring a smooth and effective operation.
