Looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity available for a mechanic to join our team on Hayman Island. As the island's mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining our fleet of vehicles and mechanical equipment to ensure smooth resort operations.

Job Description:

This role involves performing preventative maintenance tasks to minimize equipment failures and provide guests with a trouble-free experience. You will be required to work diligently to maintain high standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hold a Queensland safety induction White Card.
  • Have familiarity with Microsoft Office, Email, and reporting tools like HotSoS, Hardcat.
  • Be knowledgeable in general engineering tools, vehicle electric diagnosis, and hydraulic operations.
  • Possess experience with marine vessels (preferable).
  • Be physically fit to perform tasks that involve being on your feet most of the day and bending/kneeling.
  • Hold a valid Queensland driver's license and comply with local driving laws.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, being warm, welcoming, and approachable.
