About the Role:

As a Field Technician, you will be the primary technical support for our clients, either on-site or online/phone. On-site, you'll troubleshoot and resolve issues, and when remote, you'll handle client enquiries and provide level 2/3 technical support over the phone as well as escalate where needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Microsoft Office 365 including user setup and licensing;
  • Server management including installations, configurations and updates;
  • VoIP phone systems including documentation of configurations;
  • Website administration including updates, backups and security monitoring;
  • DNS and domain registrations including maintaining records and renewals;
  • Network administration including managing firewalls, switches, routers and VPN's; and
  • Security including monitoring systems for irregularities and breaches, and escalations.
About You:

You will be a quick learner passionate about client interaction. You should have 3+ years of proven experience in a level 2 or higher helpdesk role and possess the following attributes:

  • Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Hyper-V environments;
  • Solid understanding of DNS and experience in troubleshooting DNS issues;
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills;
  • Technical understanding and interest in providing whole-of-business IT support;
  • Familiarity with Microsoft systems including the Microsoft 365 cloud suite;
  • A valid Australian driver's licence (Class P or Open) and vehicle;
  • A quiet and professional work space for remote work; and
  • Ability to apply safe work practices when troubleshooting networking and internet issues.
