We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing of around 1000 employees.

About the Role

This is a 9-month fixed-term contract opportunity based in Melbourne CBD with a hybrid arrangement (3 days in the office). The successful candidate must have extensive experience working with MYOB PayGlobal and Australian Payroll Legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately and efficiently for approximately 1000 employees
  • Ensure compliance with Australian tax laws, superannuation, Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, and enterprise agreements
  • Familiarity with Single Touch Payroll and reporting to the ATO
  • Manage employee leave, reconcile transactions, and process superannuation guarantees
  • Pursue accurate payroll processing, off-cycle payments, overpayments, garnishments, new hires, terminations, changes in pay, ABA file payments, and STP reporting

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in award interpretation and multiple award working experience
  • Proficient in MYOB PayGlobal
  • Able to thrive in fast-paced environments
