The Senior Development Manager will lead the end-to-end technical delivery of a major digital transformation initiative within a federal government agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Technical Leadership
  • Collaborate with Systems and IT Teams
  • Define Code Review Frameworks and Development Standards
  • Act as an Escalation Point for Technical Risks
  • Promote Consistency through Common Component Design
  • Foster Developer Communities

Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires a strong understanding of enterprise ICT environments, including cloud, networking, security, and integration.

Proven experience delivering technical capabilities using Agile methodologies (SAFe, PRINCE2, or hybrid) is essential.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required to influence and engage stakeholders.

A strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret technical data and reports is also necessary.

Demonstrated resilience and adaptability in managing competing priorities and evolving requirements is key.

High personal integrity and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes in a collaborative team environment is expected.

Experience in government or regulated ICT environments is highly desirable.
