About the Opportunity

The General Manager – Multi Residential reports to the CEO of Wilson Homes and is a key member of the Wilson Homes leadership team. In this highly rewarding role, you will drive strategic growth, lead the successful delivery of multi-residential projects, and ensure operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Execute the multi-residential strategy including the identification of growth opportunities and market trends
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including developers and government entities
  • Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities with key clients and developers
  • Conduct high-level negotiations, address complex project needs, and provide expert advice to ensure exceptional customer experiences at all stages of the project lifecycle
  • Take ownership of financial performance for multi projects, regularly reviewing and comparing estimates against actuals to enhance operational metrics
  • Ensure proper resource planning and allocation across projects and sales, fostering collaboration and sharing of resources to ensure operational objectives are achieved
  • Build an effective team culture that promotes organisational goals, encourages collaboration, and strengthens relationships with Service Leaders for seamless operations
  • Champion a culture of safety across all project sites, ensuring adherence to workplace health and safety standards

About You

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in construction management, business, or related fields
  • Understanding of market trends and business development strategies
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices in construction
  • Thorough knowledge of construction projects, field operations, financial processes, and General Management
  • Comfortable with a fluid working environment, able to take your team with you in response to rapidly changing demands
  • Ability to rapidly establish a rapport with colleagues at every level, with highly developed influencing, coaching, and interpersonal skills
