Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of New Business Development to join our team at Https:/www.energyjobline.com/sitemap. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for expanding our Supply Chain Management, Logistics & Travel vertical in Australia.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales-driven professional with a proven track record of selling IT Professional Services. You will have a strong ability to identify industry pain points and engage with VP or C-level decision-makers. Your experience in leading strategic business development initiatives and driving sales opportunities for large enterprise clients will be invaluable in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the trusted advisor selling IT Professional Services to potential clients
  • Identify potential target clients through lead generation strategies, networking, referrals, and online research
  • Execute an end-to-end client sales cycle focused on the sales process from the acquisition of new clients to closing deals and driving revenue growth
  • Negotiate, manage, and close strategic new business deals
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and prospects by researching and contacting prospects in alignment with sales goals
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives, consistently delivering revenue goals
  • Execute strategies for farming and growing large existing accounts
  • Apply your deep knowledge of the industry, its technological landscape, and the complex challenges it faces to become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on technology challenges within your vertical

Requirements

  • 10+ years of business development experience
  • Demonstrable experience selling IT Professional Services
  • Good track record of selling within the Supply Chain Management, Logistics and/or Travel industry
  • Experience leading strategic business development initiatives to drive sales opportunities for large enterprise clients
  • Sales-driven professional with hunter-centric sales experience prospecting, qualifying leads, conducting sales presentations, negotiating, and closing contracts, and building relationships
  • Strong ability to identify industry pain points to engage with and persuade VP or C-level decision-makers
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Demonstrated track record of success in new business development
  • Experience preparing and presenting proposals, business cases, and statements of work

Travel Requirements

Travel is an integral part of a Sales role and you will need to travel locally, within country, and internationally as needed to perform the role. You will need a valid passport and driving license, and be able to travel in working hours as needed.
