Hotel Operations Manager Role

The successful candidate will lead a dynamic team in ensuring smooth guest experiences. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining efficient front office operations to guarantee exceptional service delivery.
  • Setting an example for the team by delivering outstanding customer service, reflecting the organization's values and culture.
  • Supporting the growth of front office staff members through training, coaching, and empowerment.
  • Ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Addressing guest concerns and special requests professionally and promptly.
  • Contributing to financial performance by adhering to cash handling and accounting protocols.
  • Promoting hotel offers, services, and facilities to guests.
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, supporting workplace health & safety initiatives.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum 1-2 years' experience in front office operations, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
  • Hospitality qualifications and strong technical skills (familiarity with Opera systems desirable).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Multicultural awareness and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong personal integrity, initiative, and ability to work independently.
