We are seeking a National Senior Information Manager to join our Corporate Information Technology team. This role is available across all states and offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

About the Role

This position will serve as the Data Custodian for the hub and primary Information Manager for central functions, ensuring the security, integrity, and accessibility of data assets.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of data loss prevention and detection technologies, data security principles, and industry best practices. They will also be able to assess and mitigate risks related to data management.

  • Establish roles and responsibilities for the information management team.
  • Work collaboratively with regional counterparts to prepare, agree upon, and communicate Information Standards and Methods & Procedures.
  • Ensure consistent data classification across projects and central functions.
  • Deliver training to data stewards on data classification, labelling, and data leakage prevention.
  • Identify requirements and business cases for new or updated business data classifications.
  • Monitor and respond to unauthorized data access activities.
