Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive data strategies that align with business objectives, driving revenue growth and operational efficiency.">
  • Leverage expertise in data governance, data management, and advanced analytics to inform business decisions and drive transformation.">
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement data-driven solutions that meet business needs, improving decision-making capabilities.">
  • Provide thought leadership on data strategy, driving innovation and best practices across the organization.">
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and deliver strategic data initiatives, ensuring successful implementation and adoption.">
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor landscapes to inform data strategy and stay ahead of the curve.">
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of organizational data standards, ensuring consistency and quality across all data assets.">
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, effectively allocating resources and meeting deadlines.">
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.">
  • Stay up-to-date with industry certifications, training, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.">
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.">
  • Analyse and evaluate data-driven insights, providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders and driving business outcomes.">
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of data-driven solutions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize results.">
  • Engage with external partners and vendors to leverage best-in-class solutions and services, enhancing the organization's data capabilities.">
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment and effective communication of data strategies and initiatives.">
  • Develop and present compelling business cases, proposals, and pitches to stakeholders, securing buy-in and support for data-driven initiatives.">
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of cloud-based data platform technologies, including Microsoft Azure Data and Analytics tech stack, Databricks, DevOps, and Snowflake.">
  • Utilize industry-standard tools and methodologies to design, implement, and manage data architectures, ensuring scalability and performance.">
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, encouraging experimentation and innovation within the data community.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.">
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data strategy, analytics, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering business value.">
  • Strong expertise in data governance, data management, and advanced analytics, including machine learning and artificial intelligence.">
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.">
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.">
  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, including Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake.">
  • Knowledge of industry-standard tools and methodologies for data architecture, including DevOps and CI/CD.">
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data sets, identify insights, and provide actionable recommendations.">
  • Strong understanding of business operations, finance, and marketing principles, with the ability to apply data insights to drive business outcomes.">
  • Passion for data and analytics, with a commitment to staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.">
  • Certifications in data science, analytics, or related fields, such as CDMP from DAMA.">
  • Relevant experience working with industry-standard software, including SQL, Python, R, and Tableau.">
  • Affinity for mentoring and coaching junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.">
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, depending on project requirements.">
  • US citizenship or permanent resident status required due to government contracting regulations.">

Salary Range

">

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
