About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Governance Architect Lead to join our team at Eden Ritchie Recruitment. This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior data professional to lead the design, configuration, and rollout of the Data Governance module of Microsoft Purview.

Job Description
  • Lead Design and Configuration: Collaborate with solution architects, data architects, and data governance teams to ensure alignment with department policies and data governance best practices.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with team members, solution architects, and vendors to understand requirements, partner with IT Branch teams to ensure the solution meets functional and non-functional requirements, and provide technical leadership and guidance to business teams, team members, and stakeholders on the Data Governance module of Purview.
  • Implementation and Delivery: Coordinate activities across IT teams, change managers, and vendors, ensuring compliance with departmental data governance standards, implement the Data Governance module of Microsoft Purview across the Microsoft Cloud estate and on-premises data sources, and stay up to date with the latest developments in Microsoft Purview's data catalog and data governance features.
Requirements
  • Extensive Experience: In designing and delivering data governance and data catalog solutions using the Data Governance module of Microsoft Purview and Azure Purview.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of Azure, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Dynamics 365 architecture and services, proficiency with data and analytics solutions in Microsoft Fabric and MS Azure resources (e.g., Data Lake, Synapse), Databricks, and Power BI, and knowledgeable in Microsoft administration and security configurations.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, proficient in oral and written communication, including implementation documentation, proactive engagement with business and technical stakeholders and team members, and ability to work independently and self-manage.
What We Offer
