Job Description

The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Manager, Payroll Governance, and contribute to the Bank's strategic objective to demonstrate compliance with Commonwealth, State, and Territory workplace laws. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with various stakeholders to ensure payroll data accuracy, develop analysis approaches, and implement governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse payroll data (quantitative and qualitative) to determine and validate remediation payments by reference to initial external data analytics results, in context of regulatory framework and payroll governance assurance activities.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of analysis approach, including in connection with risk reporting, quality assurance.
  • Contribute to development and enhancement of payroll governance in alignment with HRIS implementation activities, and interim compliance opportunities and requirements, to ensure our people are paid correctly.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess technical expertise in Payroll data analytics from medium-large complex organisations, deep knowledge and understanding of Employment and Industrial relations law, and demonstrated experience in developing and implementing payroll governance frameworks and processes.
