About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position commencing in the near future.

Halls Head College is an Independent Public School catering to diverse student needs. Our mission is to nurture lifelong learners who contribute positively to the community.

Working in partnership with parents, students, and the broader community, we ensure each student is equipped with the skills, knowledge, and capabilities to be active and positive citizens, achieving success beyond Years 7 to 12.

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Human Resource Officer to manage relief coordination and related duties in alignment with college requirements, with working hours from 6am to 2pm.

The successful applicant will possess exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic team environment, engaging with staff and the wider community to achieve optimal educational outcomes.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Executive and Leadership teams to ensure that relief is strategically allocated, effective, and cost-efficient. Flexibility to adapt to project planning based on the College needs is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to provide effective support and input into the development, implementation, and monitoring of human resource management systems and processes
  • Sound written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in human resource management, including research, planning, and recruitment practices

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in managing the allocation, coordination, acquisition, and development of relief teachers
  • Experience in coordination or project management roles that demonstrate problem-solving, strategic planning, and organisational skills

Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated ability to provide effective support and input into the development, implementation, and monitoring of human resource management systems and processes
  • Sound written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in human resource management, including research, planning, and recruitment practices
