Job Description

As a seasoned commercial manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic commercial oversight and contractual management across multiple concurrent initiatives. You will contribute to the development, negotiation, review, and management of contracts, effectively mitigating risks and maximising opportunities.

You will be responsible for managing client concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner, contributing to negotiations of key subcontracts and purchase orders, and creating and managing subcontracts to ensure alignment with project requirements and organisational standards.

Additionally, you will provide support to projects by overseeing all commercial aspects of affiliated contracts, ensuring fulfillment of contract requirements, and interfacing with internal business functions to guarantee and assure contract compliance.

  • Develop and negotiate contracts to mitigate risks and maximise opportunities
  • Manage client concerns and negotiate subcontract agreements
  • Create and manage subcontracts to align with project requirements
  • Oversee commercial aspects of affiliated contracts and ensure contract compliance
Qualifications, Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Current AGSVA Baseline security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in business or law, or demonstrated relevant professional experience
  • Significant experience in Defence and Government commercial management or procurement
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiation and support
  • Experienced user of MS Office products
