Key ResponsibilitiesThis is a true partnership role where you will work alongside senior professionals providing strategic commercial advice that shapes decisions and drives performance. With no direct reports to manage, your focus will be on delivering insightful analysis, influencing outcomes, and helping our partners succeed.
You will maximise realisation through monitoring WIP, managing projects, minimising write-downs, and providing commercial insights that drive stronger financial outcomes.
Additionally, you will shape pricing strategies by advising the Pricing Committee on tender submissions, profitability analysis, and commercial risk. You will also champion smarter project scoping, LPM, and post-tender review to improve future performance.
Furthermore, you will unlock growth by partnering with Business Development to identify new client opportunities through market analysis, client research, and cross-business collaboration.
Lastly, you will boost productivity by working with People & Performance and Finance to optimise resourcing, talent mapping, and utilisation across teams.
What we're looking forWe are seeking a Commercial Manager with a minimum of 5-7+ years' experience in a commercial or finance role, ideally within a business services environment.
Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business or related field and a CPA/CA are required.
The ideal candidate will have proven ability to interpret complex financial and operational data and turn it into actionable advice.
Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential - you will need to influence and challenge constructively.
A commercial mindset with the ability to balance strategic vision and operational detail is crucial.
