Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our finance function, you will be responsible for providing commercial insight and strategic support to the business, driving positive commercial outcomes and tailored reporting.
About the Role
This is a full-time permanent position based at HQ. You will partner with the Group Sustainability business to provide effective planning, analysis and advice on all financial aspects within these business units. With a commercial leadership and risk management focus, this role will ensure the appropriate structures, initiatives and processes are in place to meet the delivery of Group ESG requirements & targets.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Commercial Insight: Providing commercial insight and strategic support in relation to financial targets, efficiency and delivery of key business priorities
- Tailored Reporting: Design and implementation of segment tailored reporting services to support commercial and strategic decision making
- Analysis and Performance Reporting: Identifying key performance gaps through analysis against business drivers (customers, operations, financials), performance reporting, linking financial and non-financial key performance indicators and communicating results to key stakeholders to inform strategic priorities
- Process Improvement: Identifying and developing initiatives to enhance process efficiency, performance and value of reporting mechanisms
- Stakeholder Management: Managing and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure needs are understood and incorporated into finance planning
- Team Coaching and Mentoring: Coaching and mentoring the team to ensure their growth, development and performance
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Relevant Qualifications: A Graduate degree in a relevant discipline and professional accounting qualifications (CPA/CA)
- Extensive Financial Knowledge: 5+ years relevant professional experience with extensive financial knowledge
- Business Partnering Experience: Demonstrated Business Partnering experience within a large corporate organisation
- Thought Leadership: Thought leadership in managing large complex datasets and extracting key insights
- Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to deliver clear financial analysis and advice to non-finance management teams
- Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial acumen with an ability to manage customer expectations
- Adaptability: A self-starter mindset and the ability to work under time pressure with limited supervision
- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated high level consultation, negotiation and interpersonal skills
