Job Opportunity

Established a reputation as a seasoned commercial professional, you are sought after by a construction company to manage the financial, contractual, and commercial performance across multiple concurrent projects. This strategic role is ideal for those who have honed their skills in protecting margins, mitigating risk, and delivering projects with commercial clarity and confidence.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading contract negotiations, procurement strategies, and subcontractor terms
  • Developing and managing budgets, forecasting, and cost reporting across project portfolios
  • Managing variations, claims resolution, and contract risk mitigation
  • Providing commercial insight and advice to project leadership and the executive team
  • Maintaining compliance with industry and statutory quality, safety, and financial standards
  • Building strong internal and external relationships with clients, subcontractors, and consultants

Qualifications Include:

  • Tertiary-qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline
  • 5+ years of commercial leadership experience within a commercial construction business
  • Proven analytical thinking skills with ability to manage P&L, contract negotiation, risk, and commercial strategies
  • Confident communication and negotiation skills across project and client relationships
  • Highly organised and commercially astute with drive for margin protection and delivery excellence
