As the Senior Partnerships Manager, you will serve as the crucial link between Xero and its key non-financial services partners. These collaborations enhance the value we provide to our shared customers' experiences and contribute to Xero's growth and revenue. By collaborating closely with global and regional teams, you will leverage your creativity and relationship-building skills to establish and nurture long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Partnership Development: Cultivate senior-level relationships with both new and existing strategic partners to enhance our collaboration and implement initiatives that improve customer outcomes and boost Xero's revenue.
- Partnership Management: Oversee partnership initiatives from assessment and planning through to execution and ongoing management.
- Internal Collaboration: Engage internal stakeholders, including marketing, go-to-market, product, and legal teams, to ensure support for partnership initiatives.
- Global Support: Collaborate with the global partnerships team to assist in the coordination of strategically important accounts in the ANZ region.
- Market Awareness: Regularly analyze the market landscape to propose, develop, and implement innovative strategies that align with the objectives of Xero and its strategic partners.
- Partnership Advocacy: Act as an advocate for partners within Australia and New Zealand, representing Xero at significant internal and external events as necessary.
- Operational Excellence: Achieve strategic and financial goals, including partner engagement in key Xero events, while continuously seeking to enhance effectiveness through the evolution of operational processes.
- Strategic and Commercial Insight: A strategic thinker with strong commercial understanding, including experience in business/product strategy, evaluating commercial viability, and expertise in contract negotiations.
- Relationship Management: Proven ability to establish and manage complex relationships across various business levels, with strong executive influence both internally and externally.
- Partnership and SaaS Background: Demonstrated experience in partnerships, particularly within a SaaS environment, with a comprehensive understanding of technology, software development, and the B2B software sector.
- Effective Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, essential for influencing and fostering long-term, scalable partnerships.
- Empathy and Flexibility: Understanding of partner operations and the capability to collaborate with complex organizations to create mutual value and sustainable partnerships.
