Role Overview:
  • We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Perth due to consistent growth in our project pipeline.

The role involves

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and reviewing structural designs for bridges, overpasses, and other infrastructure-related structures using advanced engineering software and techniques.
  • Leading structural engineering aspects of projects, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Performing complex structural analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and safety of designs.
  • Ensuring all designs comply with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Conducting detailed reviews and inspections of structural designs and construction work.
  • Collaborating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to communicate design concepts and address project requirements.
  • Incorporating innovative and sustainable practices into structural designs to minimize environmental impact and optimize resource efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on highway and bridge projects.
  • Proficiency in structural design software such as STAAD.Pro, LUSAS, Midas Civil, Strand 7, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of Main Roads WA standards and engineering practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a small team is desirable.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
