As a Lead Civil Drafter, you will be part of a dynamic team delivering sustainable design solutions for highways and road infrastructure projects in Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Detailed Design Drafting: Prepare high-quality civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
  • Compliance with Main Roads WA guidelines: Produce and review drawings to ensure alignment with MRWA standards and specifications.
  • Documentation Preparation: Develop and manage detailed drawing sets for tender, construction, and as-built purposes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with civil engineers, designers, and project managers to deliver coordinated drawing packages.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct self-checks and peer reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of deliverables.
  • Mentoring: Provide technical support and guidance to less-experienced drafters within the team.

The ideal candidate will have 5-12 years of experience in civil drafting, with a strong focus on major highway and road infrastructure projects in Western Australia. They will possess advanced skills in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, as well as experience working with Main Roads WA operations.
