Highway Engineering Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Highway Engineering Specialist with a strong focus on delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

In this role, you will apply your technical expertise and design management skills to prepare detailed drawings for highways, interchanges, and roadworks using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Detailed Drawing Preparation:
  • Produce accurate and complete drawing packages for tender, construction, and as-built purposes.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with civil engineers, designers, and project managers to deliver coordinated drawing packages.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct self-checks and peer reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of deliverables in accordance with project requirements.
  • Technical Support:
  • Provide technical guidance and support to less-experienced drafters within the team.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • 5–12 years' experience in highway engineering, with a strong focus on major infrastructure projects.
  • Advanced skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Microstation platforms.
  • Experience with BIM, 3D modeling, and digital delivery methodologies.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Previous involvement in major infrastructure programs across WA.
