Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced civil drafter with a strong background in highway and road infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Microstation platforms.

About the Role:

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled drafter to work on major highway and road infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality drawings and models, ensuring accuracy and completeness in accordance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed drawing sets, including plans, profiles, cross-sections, and detail sheets for tender, construction, and as-built purposes.
  • Collaborate closely with civil engineers, designers, and project managers to deliver coordinated drawing packages.
  • Conduct self-checks and peer reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of deliverables.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to less-experienced drafters within the team.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5-12 years' civil drafting experience, preferably in major highway and road infrastructure projects.
  • Advanced skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Microstation platforms.
  • Familiarity with Main Roads WA guidelines, specifications, and protocols.
  • High level of accuracy in producing and checking drawings and models.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
