Infrastructure Operations Specialist

Role Overview

This is a permanent opportunity, and we welcome applicants from the Sydney area. As a key member of our operations team, you will provide day-to-day support, identify opportunities to analyze and optimize platform performance, and work collaboratively with teams to drive strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational support for customer-facing platforms
  • Identify opportunities to improve platform stability and efficiency
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to drive business objectives
  • Support capabilities including customer identity management, payments, and data privacy
Requirements
  • Solid experience in DevOps or a related field
  • Experience working on customer-facing platforms providing operational support
  • Understanding of IT service management processes and tools, including ServiceNow
  • Experience with monitoring tools, search queries, and relevant technologies:
    • Splunk (3+ years hands-on experience creating complex alerts and dashboards)
    • New Relic (2+ years hands-on experience configuring synthetic monitoring and alert policies)
    • PowerShell
    • Postman / Insomnia
    • GitHub / Bamboo
    • SQL skills (PostgreSQL)
    • Change Management Process
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization technologies
  • API gateway knowledge
  • Experience with cloud technologies and containerized architecture
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
