Performance Improvement Specialist

About this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to collaborate with cross-functional teams and implement performance improvement solutions for cloud and in-house applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in custom coding, big data, payments, cloud services and software as a service.

  • Candidate should have experience in custom coding to build tools and scripts for automation.
  • Implement performance improvement plans and roadmaps for the platform.
  • Develop non-functional requirements for new and old platforms.
  • Experience in capacity planning and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience in various performance tuning tools.
  • Lead the design, development, and execution of performance test plans and test cases for big data, payment solutions, and multi-cloud and third-party applications.
  • Oversee the analysis of performance test results to identify bottlenecks, performance issues, and areas for optimization.
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and data engineering teams to implement performance improvements.
  • Develop and maintain automated performance testing scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes and data pipelines.
  • Utilize cloud services and technologies for performance testing and optimization.
  • Work with big data technologies, payments, channels, Kafka, microservices Teradata, and Oracle to assess and enhance performance.
  • Manage batch processes and scheduling.
  • Provide detailed performance analysis reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide team members on performance testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in big data performance testing and cloud technologies.
  • Ensure all testing activities comply with industry standards and best practices.
