Job Overview

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the Lombard and Mortgage lending process. Your primary responsibility will be to support client advisors throughout the entire loan cycle.

Acting as a single point of contact, you will be responsible for originating and structuring client credit facility requests, including due diligence and risk assessment.

Throughout the transaction lifecycle, from origination to execution, you will offer expert support and guidance to ensure the successful delivery of bespoke financing solutions.

Promote financial acumen among client advisors by developing and driving sales strategies.

Support the maintenance of lending products, risk management, ongoing monitoring, reporting, and pricing activities.

Manage the loans and deposits product risk and control requirements to ensure compliance across all areas.

Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including client advisors, control functions, and other teams, to deliver tailored holistic solutions to clients.

Key Requirements
  • University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in Lombard lending (margin lending) and Mortgage lending in Australia.
  • Several years' experience structuring/underwriting complex loans for high net worth clients, or experience as a loan officer.
  • Methodical work style with strong attention to detail and ability to analyze financial product risk and regulatory issues.
  • Collaborative team member with sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
