Job Overview

You are an experienced professional in the lending industry, passionate about business development and customer service. With a proven track record in supporting customers through one of the most significant financial decisions they will make.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice to customers to help them achieve their home buying aspirations.
  • Conduct initial interviews and appointments with prospective home buyers to determine suitable lending solutions and submit applications.
  • Offer tailored suggestions to customers based on their home buying goals.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, building trust, confidence, and advocacy to support customers' financial objectives.
  • Develop your professional brand and network within the local community to enhance your credibility.
  • Grow your business by establishing and maintaining internal and external referral sources, as well as seeking referrals from existing customers.
  • Engage with home buying customers to build rapport, identify their needs and goals, and invite them for a meeting.
  • Ensure adherence to the organization's processes, procedures, and code of conduct, including accurately reviewing customers' financial situations, completing security checks, and verifying application compliance.
  • Participate in regular coaching sessions to develop your lending expertise and skills, as well as coach colleagues on best practices.
  • Research market trends, economic changes, and industry developments affecting customers and the organization.
  • Utilize tools to capture customer feedback and take corrective action to address service gaps and drive improvement.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a similar lending role within a banking or mortgage brokerage environment.
  • Demonstrated success in business development.
  • A comprehensive understanding of home lending products and current responsible lending regulations.
