About the Role

You will be working in a fast-paced lending environment where you are expected to develop long-lasting relationships with customers by providing them with suitable lending solutions.

This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who have a passion for business development and customer service. Whether a customer is buying their first home or investing in a property, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and making their experience great.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advice and support to customers to help them achieve their home buying goals.
  • Complete interviews with prospective home buyers to determine suitable lending solutions and submit applications.
  • Make relevant suggestions to customers based on their home buying needs.
  • Build trust and confidence with customers to secure and enhance their financial goals.
  • Develop your personal brand and network in the local community to increase your credibility.
  • Build internal and external referral sources to drive business growth.
  • Contact home buying customers to build rapport and invite them into the branch for an appointment.
  • Adhere to the bank's processes and procedures, including reviewing customers' financial positions and completing security checks.
  • Attend coaching sessions to develop your lending knowledge and skills.
  • Research market trends and economic changes affecting customers.
  • Use tools to capture customer feedback and take action to improve service.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role from within a bank or mortgage broker environment.
  • Demonstrated success in business development.
  • A well-developed knowledge of home lending products and responsible lending legislation.
