Senior Lending Specialist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lending Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations group, you will be responsible for assessing financial circumstances of applicants in line with our credit policy.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating applicant financial data and making informed lending decisions
  • Ensuring all necessary documentation is provided by applicants and verifying the accuracy of their information
  • Protecting each application against potential fraud
  • Liaising with customers and third parties to verify details as needed
  • Maintaining accurate records of lending activity and reporting any issues or discrepancies to management

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong understanding of Australian regulated credit laws and practices
  • Experience in a similar role within the finance industry
  • Certificate IV in Credit Management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
