Strategic Partnership Specialist

The position of Strategic Partnership Specialist exists within a federal law enforcement agency, playing a pivotal role in providing expert advice on procurement and capital works projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and empower team members through guidance, mentorship, and advisory roles.
  • Manage project procurement, oversee contract management activities, and participate in negotiations to secure optimal outcomes.
  • Nurture professional networks both internally and externally to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to reporting requirements to guarantee transparency and accountability.
  • Represent the agency's procurement services at key meetings and provide informed advice on best business practices.
Requirements:
  • Australian citizenship.
  • Current Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or ability to obtain one.
  • Proven experience in project support, finance, administration, and government procurement.
  • Knowledge of strategic initiatives within the government sector.

The successful applicant will be required to relocate to the Australian Capital Territory and work from the office for a minimum of 2-3 days per week to foster collaboration and team cohesion.
