Job Title: Executive Director for Strategic Partnerships
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to step into a newly created role that will drive innovation, growth and sustainability across our organization.
The successful candidate will lead partnerships, strategy and innovation initiatives, shaping long-term outcomes and future direction. This role will focus on developing and maintaining high-quality data to inform stakeholders and support planning, driving innovative solutions and models, and influencing policy at state level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a state-wide strategy to ensure sustainable growth and development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups and educational institutions.
- Drive innovative facility provision models, including outdoor courts and shared-use agreements.
- Inform and influence local government infrastructure decision-making, including strategic and financial planning.
- Pursue innovative funding models to complement traditional sources.
- Advocate for participation funding and broader support to meet growing demand.

- Strong partnership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build alignment across diverse interests.
- Proven experience in strategy, project management and leadership.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to inspire confidence and collaboration.
- A strategic mindset with commercial acumen and experience developing funding or partnership models.
